THE CHALLENGE
To cut through a noisy 5G market and establish Samsung’s expertise and leadership credentials around this next generation, wireless technology.
SOLUTION
We created a nationwide, omnichannel campaign tapping into consumers new-found appreciation of technology experienced during lockdown. We brought together academic Dr. Hannah Fry and comedian Suzi Ruffell to host a series of carefully crafted science and entertainment podcasts. We then teamed up with Time Out and Metro to create weekly editorial related to each of our eight Whatever Next? podcasts – as well as strategically place product advertising alongside relevant content. We further amplified our campaign through social media and display, as well as creating a physical 5G demonstration space within Samsung’s KX support lounge in Kings Cross, London.RESULTS
15.7 million combined digital and print campaign impressions
207% increase in Dotcom 5G page visits
20,000 podcast listeners (without paid promotion)
