Galaxy 947 Joburg Day, powered by the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, took place on Saturday, 6 September 2025, transforming Crocodile Creek Polo Club in Lanseria into Joburg’s ultimate backyard celebration. Designed as the city’s biggest family day out, the event brought together friends and families for a day of music, entertainment, and shared moments.

At the festival itself, an immersive and interactive Samsung stand was setup in order to showcase the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 devices.   The stand consisted of various activity booths, including a fully functional Galaxy Hangout Bus, where consumers could test the AI features of the device for themselves.  The extrinsic design was fresh and open allowing free flow throughout the activation zones and activities. Ambient branding throughout the venue, including a VIP zone for Samsung guests and Media ensured that Samsung’s presence was always felt by consumers and VIP’s alike, resulting in a massive success that achieved over R 2 million worth of earned media.
