Christmas presents? A (digital) game for Samsung Members.

CHALLENGE


Christmas is the time of year when brands are most likely to launch personalised discount initiatives. How can Samsung Members also be involved in these activities, so that they have the opportunity to use the discounts in time for buying presents?


IDEA


For Samsung Members customers, we have come up with two digital activations to play with over the festive period: an advent calendar with “instant win” (Samsung prizes and product discounts) and a daily game with a story having multiple endings and vouchers on promoted products.


RESULTS


The Christmas CRM activation delivered strong results across all key performance indicators.
Member acquisition increased by +3.5% vs PY, while engagement saw a significant boost with +56% Daily Active Users vs PY.
The campaign also drove a remarkable impact on business performance, with +277% contribution vs PY, confirming the effectiveness of gamified experiences in driving value during the festive season.
